Throughout the week we’ve taken you inside the 2015 SEMA show for a look at the vehicles and action taking place throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center. Before we bid farewell to another great year, let’s take a look at Murray Pfaff’s project Draggin’ Wagon that spent the week at SEMA as an AMSOIL Feature Vehicle.
Pfaff’s current project is a Ram 1500 Express 2WD that has undergone extensive modifications, finished off with a paint scheme that pays homage to the Mopar graphics of the 70s. Dubbed Draggin’ Wagon, this build includes features like the BellTech kit and Hellwig swag bars that lower the body by four inches while sitting on Toyo Tires with Forgeline rims. It has a 5.7 Hemi with a K&N cold-air intake filter to feed the Magnuson supercharger, along with EBC brakes, rotors and pads. Of course, it’s lubricated with AMSOIL synthetic lubricants throughout to maximize all that power. He’s even implemented 3-D printing technology for some of the design elements. Using Chrysler data, Pfaff worked with Synergeering Group to create a set of custom brake ducts, hood intake and “washboard” hood vents using a laser-centering technology called SLS.
While SEMA is almost over, there is more excitement just ahead for Pfaff and the Draggin’ Wagon. After rolling out of the SEMA grounds, it will head to the desert for a photo shoot for an upcoming feature with Street Trucks Magazine. Pfaff, founder and owner of Pfaff Designs, is a master at designing, building and modifying high-profile vehicles. He was a key player in the development of the AMSOIL Rapture Challenger that was unveiled in the AMSOIL booth at SEMA 2014. He managed to pull that project off and have it ready for the limelight in just seven weeks. To build vehicles of his caliber, Pfaff seeks out aftermarket companies within the industry that hold the same high standards he does. Those principles align with the ones used to produce AMSOIL products, which is why our partnership has been such a success. AMSOIL thanks Pfaff and his crew for another successful SEMA showing, and we can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for next year. For now, it’s time to enjoy the ride and see where Draggin’ Wagon turns up next.
