The 2016 Diesel Power Challenge has commenced, kicking off today in Denver with ten reader-selected competitors eagerly awaiting their chance to blow out the competition. Dubbed a ‘3-day diesel torture test’ by event organizers at Diesel Power Magazine, these rigs face extreme tests of strength and mettle in hopes of being crowned most powerful diesel in the nation.
Now in its 12th year, avid DPC enthusiasts know this to be the premier diesel event of its kind. The Diesel Power Challenge puts these trucks through intense trials to gauge horsepower & performance through dyno testing, trailer & sled pulls and even an obstacle course for good measure. AMSOIL is the Official Oil of the event, ensuring each engine can take the heat coming their way. Check out last year’s highlight reel and follow along with this year’s action with up-to-the-minute updates on Diesel Power Magazine’s Facebook page. Will this year’s champion be a Ram, Ford or GM?
