Happy fall, race fans!

Your resident AMSOIL racing and events expert here with a break down of what Team AMSOIL has been up to “On the Track” and what’s coming up in our “Staging Area.”

On the Track

Getting it done in the desert

There was some “Dueling in the Desert” this past weekend at the Best in the Desert Laughlin Desert Classic. Entering its fourth year, the event hosts two nights of racing for UTVs and five races on Saturday and Sunday, with the return of the crowd favorite “Laughlin Leap” Saturday evening.

And #TeamAMSOIL was there in full force in the 6100 class. The #6188 of Camburg Racing finished first overall in the 6100 class and sailed the #8188 farthest in class in the Laughlin Leap.

Brad Lovell and crew leapt to success as well, with Lovell (and his wife as co-driver) taking home the 6100 Laughin Leap championship. The team finished sixth overall in the actual race. They finished four of the five races in which Lovell competed this season in the top 10.

A farewell to summer

Last weekend marked the 22nd-annual Endless Summer Cruisin’ in Ocean City, Md. More than 2,000 hot rods, street machines, customs and more flooded the inlet for shows, parades and plenty of entertainment.

Below are some of the sweet rides we found this year:

In the Staging Area

Camp RZR

The biggest four-wheeled party of the year is heading to Glamis sand dunes, near Glamis, Calif., Oct. 24-26. Polaris created Camp RZR as a way to say “Thank you” to the side-by-side community. Camp RZR invites off-road fans to a weekend-long party, complete with Nitro Circus shows, demos of the latest Polaris off-road vehicles and epic dune riding.

AMSOIL will also be supplying lubricants for the BFG Garage locations that will be onsite during the weekend. Bryce Menzies will be on hand for riding demos, to sign autographs and more.
