Taking In the Scene at the Colorado State Fairgrounds: Final Destination on the Coyote Road Tour

FPT_IMG_0923 smThe Ford Performance Coyote Road Tour wound up its week at the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) Rocky Mountain Nationals, and what a week it was. Two AMSOIL Street Rodder Road Tour parties converged in the rarified air of the Rockies: Jerry Dixey’s troop that began in St. Paul and the Vintage Air Tour from farther west coming east. A lot of beautiful scenery was taken in, and when they arrived at the Nationals a lot of beautiful cars were seen as well. More than 100 cars from the Road Tour alone were there.

At the Colorado State Fairgrounds the two tours were set up right in the middle of the event. They had a parking area for all of the tour vehicles, while the Road Tour hospitality tent and the Ford Performance show rig really helped to showcase everything. At noon they gathered for a group photo taken by Street Rodder tech editor Rob Fortier.

The NSRA always has plenty of activities for participants. Their events are always family oriented, and the sunny, warm weather helped contribute to a wonderful weekend. Here are just a few of the beautiful cars Jerry Dixey sent us to share with our fans and blog followers. He writes, “It was a fantastic week on the Ford Performance Coyote Tour. Everyone had a great trip and the adventures we experienced together on the road forged friendships that will last a lifetime. Check the Road Tour schedule at the Street Rodder website for the upcoming tours and plan on joining us on a tour this summer.”

Wish I could’ve been there. Here are some of the cars we missed.
