In our opinion, being an AMSOIL Dealer is a pretty sweet gig. However, we may be a little biased. That’s why we asked some of our AMSOIL Dealers why they like being a Dealer.
One of them is Lorraine Strenkowski. She took on her Dealership from her in-laws and made it into a business of her own. Here are some reasons she likes being a Dealer.
Free online resources
“Becoming a Dealer allows me to get right in and get right on the website and find out how to run the business myself,” said Strenkowski.
Our free training resource, AMSOIL University Online, offers instruction on a range of topics, from running your business to lubrication fundamentals. We want to make sure you have all the resources you need to run your business.
“I do not have to carry a certain number of retail products; I don’t have to carry any,” said Strenkowski.
We don’t require AMSOIL Dealers to maintain product inventory (although some choose to stock products). Dealers can order product whenever a customer makes a purchase. Or they can have product shipped right to their customer’s door. With our 13 distribution centers across the U.S. and Canada, more than 99 percent of orders placed by 5 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, are processed and shipped within 24 hours and arrive within three days via ground delivery. Not only that, but Dealers get free shipping on orders of $350 or more ($450 in Canada).
Works with any schedule
“This is at my pace. I like that because I wanted to learn the company,” said Strenkowski.
Dealers are free to work at their own pace according to their own schedule. A Dealership can fit around you normal 9-5 job and provide supplemental income to help fund your passion, whether it’s payments for a new motorcycle, a car restoration project, a travel fund or more. You can even strive to make your Dealership into a full-time job.
No expectations or limits
“AMSOIL does not expect me to have quotas to meet, monthly quotas or yearly quotas,” said Strenkowski. “You can rise as high as you want and as fast as you want.”
As an AMSOIL Dealer, the only expectations are those you place on yourself. The same holds for limitations. You’re free to run your business according to your goals.
