The first SEMA show took place in Los Angeles in 1967 with about 100 booth displays. It was borne from the desire of a small group of manufacturers to implement standards into the motorsports industry and improve the overall market for businesses and consumers alike.
It has since grown into a massive Las Vegas production, hosting more than 2,000 exhibiting companies annually and connecting all facets of the specialty equipment market.
Our favorite SEMA 2019 builds
One of the most effective ways for companies to promote their wares is by displaying them on the vehicles that use them. Every year at SEMA the halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center become flush with head-turning vehicles across all automotive spectrums.
The AMSOIL booth is no exception. As mentioned last week, Weaver Customs caught the attention of show-goers with their 1959 Apache-D on prominent display in the AMSOIL booth:
