Bryce Menzies

Bryce Menzies rips through a turn in the Baja 1000.

Legend. After seven championships and numerous podium finishes in the world of off-road racing, Bryce Menzies has already earned the moniker – and his career shows no signs of slowing down.

The off-road racer already has an impressive rap sheet of victories:

  • 2023 Baja 1000 champion
  • Three-time Baja 500 winner
  • Four consecutive Baja 400 wins (2021-2024)
  • 2011 SCORE Trophy Truck season point champion
  • 2011 SCORE Rookie of the Year

Menzies has been driven by his passion for speed since he could first grip a steering wheel. Born in 1987 and raised amidst the adrenaline-pumping sport of dirt bike racing, driving fast is practically hardwired into his DNA. His career took off in a big way in 2007 when he dominated the CORR Single Buggy Championship, clinching the title and earning the CORR Rookie of the Year award. The following year, he transitioned from open-wheel racing to the elite trophy-truck classes and secured his first professional truck win.

In 2010, Menzies showcased his versatility by racing the Menzies Motorsports Unlimited Pro 2WD truck, finishing third overall in the CORR series. Simultaneously, he competed in the Menzies/Geiser-built trophy truck, achieving top-10 placements in iconic races such as the Mint 400, Vegas 2 Reno and Baja 500.

Menzies elevated his career in 2011 by dominating the TORC short-course series in the Pro 2WD class, securing the championship before the season concluded. He successfully defended his title in 2012 while making his mark in the SCORE Baja 500 and 100. The next year, he continued his Pro 2WD dominance and joined forces with Travis Pastrana in the Global Rallycross season.

A high point in Menzies’ career, both literally and figuratively, came in 2016 when he set a new truck-jump distance record by launching his off-road truck 115.6 meters (379.4 feet) over a ghost town in New Mexico. His success continued with a string of short-course victories in 2017 and a victory in the Best in the Desert race from Vegas to Reno in 2019. In 2020, Menzies claimed second place in the Mint 400 and third in the Baja 1000.

Menzies returned to his winning ways in 2021 with a victory at the Baja 250 in Mexico. In 2022 and 2023 he grabbed his biggest titles yet with back-to-back victories in the prestigious SCORE Baja 1000, along with multiple podium finishes in the Baja 500, Baja 400 and Baja 250 races in Mexico.

Menzies continues to push the limits of off-road racing with every race season. His relentless pursuit of excellence keeps him at the forefront of the off-road racing world and poised to add more championships to his already illustrious career.
