Horsepower and torque don’t simply disappear overnight; they are gradually reduced by the natural byproducts of engine operation. Over time, engine wear, deposits and sludge can work together to rob performance.
As an engine accumulates miles, wear on critical components like piston rings, cylinder walls and valvetrain parts starts to take a toll.
