King of the Hammers (KOH) is recognized as America’s toughest off-road event. The 200-plus-mile course combines off-road racing and rockcrawling throughout Means Dry Lake in Johnson Valley, Calif.
King of The Hammers features five races held throughout the week, including King of The Motos, the Holly EFI shootout, the KOH UTV race, the Every Man Challenge and the King of The Hammers.
Off-road competitors spend thousands of hours dialing in and testing their rigs for this iconic event. One wrong move on the course can derail a year of planning and preparation. The course requires drivers to navigate some of the gnarliest terrain in the sport, wreaking havoc on drivers and machines alike. That’s why winning King of the Hammers is one of the most prestigious accomplishments in off-road racing.
