The old saying goes, when you love your job you never work a day in your life. Few embody that adage like Murray Pfaff of Pfaff Designs.

Pfaff has built a career around designing and building spectacular vehicles for himself and others, bringing an infectious enthusiasm for the job.

Murray Pfaff: SEMA star

His impressive portfolio of custom builds and designs spans far and wide. His projects have been featured in print, television and high-profile trade shows including SEMA, where more than 50 of his designs have made an appearance.

His path has crossed with many big names in the hot-rodding industry along the way, drawing prominent clientele seeking his expertise in building their own dream rides.

A true “Influencer’s Influencer,” Pfaff is the latest feature in our Company of Enthusiasts campaign.

“FireMaker”

Check out the video for a glimpse of his hottest project known as “FireMaker.” This 1956 Cadillac has been in Murray’s arsenal for more than 25 years and has gone through three iterations before settling into its current form.

It holds a 500-ci Cadillac motor backed by a turbo 400 and can push out 525 lb. ft. torque. Oh – and to capture the concept that coined its name, it also has flamethrowers.

Luckily AMSOIL is under the hood to protect it from all that heat.
