It’s understandable that they want to show them off, and why car lovers come from afar to salivate over these works of art. Car shows bring enthusiasts together to look, learn and celebrate the beauty and innovation of the automobile. AMSOIL helps make these events possible by supporting some of the most notable car shows in North America.

Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Events

AMSOIL is the Official Oil of Goodguys Rod & Custom Association. Goodguys promotes and produces some of the world’s most dynamic automotive events. Founded by lifelong hot-rodder Gary Meadors in 1983, Goodguys Rod & Custom Association is the world’s largest hot-rodding organization with over 70,000 active members worldwide. Goodguys events feature thousands of candy-colored hot rods and customs, tricked out trucks, mighty muscle cars and regal classics sprawled throughout venues such as lush fairgrounds, super speedways and large outdoor stadiums.

Cars, vendor exhibits, adrenaline-pumping Goodguys AutoCross, live entertainment and colorful people create a festive atmosphere charged with electricity. Goodguys offers over 18 events annually across the U.S. Their events range from two-day affairs attended by 30,000 to 40,000 people to three-day festivals attracting over 100,000 auto enthusiasts.

Ocean City Events

AMSOIL is the Official Oil of two events in Ocean City, Md., Cruisin’ Ocean City and Endless Summer Cruisin’.

Cruisin’ Ocean City

Cruisin’ Ocean City (May 1-4, 2025) will feature over 3,000 hot rods, customs, classics and trucks. While the main events will take place at the beautiful beachside Inlet Parking Lot on the historic O.C. boardwalk, there will be car shows citywide.

The Cruisin’ Vendor Showcase happens Friday and Saturday at Outlets Ocean City. There will also be entertainment, boardwalk parades, special guests, featured cars, live music, celebrities, a pedal car show, a neon-light car show, a pinup contest and much more.

Endless Summer Cruisin’

If you like mixing your automobile eye-candy with the action of a sea-side playground, make your way to Ocean City for Endless Summer Cruisin.’ Take in car shows and vendors at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center parking lot and the Inlet Parking Lot, plus several more car shows at business locations around Ocean City. Other events include a pedal car show, neon-and-LED light car show, live music and more. Some of the hottest show cars will be competing for cash and trophy awards at the Hot Rod & Custom Car Show indoors at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center.

Hot August Nights

Hot August Nights is the largest classic car event in the U.S. with 6,000 registered participants and 500,000-plus attendees spanning 10 days and 12 venues.

“When we say that Hot August Nights takes over the area, that is not an understatement,” said Deny Dotson, executive director for Hot August Nights. “You’d be hard pressed to not see or hear a classic as sponsor-parking areas are filled with 1979-and-older vehicles of all shapes, sizes and models. … It’s one great celebration and we are dedicated to preserving the tradition of delivering the ultimate car enthusiast experience.”

LS Fest

LS Fest is the largest engine-specified event in the world, a celebration of all things LS and current generation LT. From race cars to hotrods, drift cars to dirt trucks, muscle cars to late models – if it’s LS or current LT-powered, you’ll find it at LS Fest. The event started in Bowling Green, Ky. over a decade ago has since expanded to Las Vegas, Nev. and Fort Worth, Texas. The events include drag racing, drifting, autocross, burnouts, off-road, a car show and more. Drivers come from all over to compete for victory in their class and overall performance in a set of specific segments.

Jeep Beach

Jeep Beach is the largest Jeep-exclusive gathering in the world. Each year, thousands of Jeep enthusiasts gather in Daytona Beach, Flor. to celebrate the Jeep community with off-road adventures, cruising the drivable beach, racing around the track and conquering the obstacle course inside the legendary Daytona International Speedway. The vendor show features hundreds of cutting-edge Jeep-specific vendors.
