Dirt bike enthusiast, racer and trainer Kalyn Benaroya competed in her first motorcycle race at 26 years old. She was hooked, and with focused determination, coaching and seat time, she returned to the same venue a few years later to secure her first win.
Benaroya has since competed in the US Hard Enduro, OMRA, and ISDE race series and other regional races.
Sidelined by an ACL injury only four years into her racing career, Benaroya’s focus switched from competition to community. She recognized the need for a strong, supportive group of women riders while attending her first women’s dirt bike campout.
In 2017, Benaroya launched Dirtastic to support women riders with group rides and coaching to improve their skills. Community response was overwhelming and Dirtastic has since become the premier all-female dirt bike coaching team in North America by helping women build confidence on two wheels.
While enduro races and coaching continue to fuel her competitive spirit, Benaroya’s true passion lies in international backcountry adventures and recreational riding with friends and family. She says her happy place is riding single track deep in the forest or dodging cacti in the desert.
No matter where she rides, Benaroya trusts AMSOIL Dirt Bike products to protect her motorcycles and keep them performing at their best.
“Building women’s confidence and supporting the community keeps me doing what I do.”
